Yes, at Legacy House (like any other apartment or rental home) you will be asked to pay the first week/months' rent and all initial deposits and fees upfront. Legacy House is not a homeless shelter and receives no outside funding from insurance companies or local/state government agencies.
If you are currently employed and can show that you will be to pay rent, we will consider accepting a partial down-payment if the situation is right.
Legacy House does offer a weekly payment option at an increased rate. We prefer that you consider paying monthly. Legacy House does its best to create a stable environment for our residents. Charging monthly instead of weekly allows everyone in the house to be committed to their sobriety and the house for a least four weeks at a time.
Yes, each month the monthly fee is due on the first. If you will be entering the house after the first (1st) then the fee will be pro-rated.
